HI Julie, Reading your posts from oldest to newest! I like your writing style. So easy to understand. I am going on this journey myself right now. I am not as far as you though. Where can I learn more about the errors and contradictions in the bible you speak about and the early unverifiable facts?
Hi Cindy. Thanks for taking time to read and comment. First of all, have you read my book Raising Hell? I demonstrate a plethora of errors and contradictions in the Bible, and show you where and how to find them yourself.
I have also gleaned a lot from reading Jewish sources on their understanding of Scriptures from their oral and written traditions, which offers a whole different view of the Bible and makes a lot more sense.
Over time, I have read many sources that contributed to my own deconstruction of the Bible as any kind of inerrant or authoritative text. Off the top of my head...
When Jesus Became God (a historical perspective on the development of the trinity)
Mauro Biglino's "The Naked Bible," and "The Gods of the Bible" are both important works.
"The Jerome Conspiracy" by Michael Wood (I don't think this is still in print but you might find it used). Also other books by Michael Wood, like "The Hidden Bible," and others.

Hope that helps!
Thank you for the reply! Yes, I have your book on Kindle. Very good! Thank you for the resources to check out. That will give me a great start!
